Book Review: David Sedaris, “Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk”
I never seem to read all the books I want to read, plan on reading, stack next to me on my bedside table, read reviews on, purchase and have waiting for me on my Kindle, etc. That being said, David Sedaris has been grandfathered into the top spot on my reading list whenever he has anything to say that gets bound between two book covers.
A long-time friend, Art Director and musical collage hobbyist, Gary Stamps, introduced me to David Sedaris long ago at a book reading and signing at Rizzoli Bookstore in San Francisco (RIP: Swallowed by mega-bookstores in early 2000′s). Me and my wide-eyed amazement left the store with a signed copy of Naked.
Read on for NPR’s book review. It’s the cheater’s version of a review — I agree with everything they say and appreciate that they are so much more articulate. I think David would approve (and then make fun of me for blogging).
